Vet delivers next litter of kittens
A doctor friend came home to find his daughter very upset.
The family cat was missing and she could not find it. My friend explained that tabby had been taken to the veterinarian to be neutered.
Being a man of science, he explained the procedure to his daughter – including the fact that the vet would remove the cat's uterus so that she could not have kittens. He said tabby would soon be home.
That seemed to satisfy her, but she still had a question.
"Does that mean the veterinarian can have kittens?" she asked.

Waiting to be declawed
My mother was taking care of my niece's son Andy.
During the day he mentioned he was going to the hospital for an operation. Of course my mother wanted to know why.
"The doctor is going to declaw me," he said. That left my mother both amused and confused.
When my niece Susan arrived later that day, my mother asked why Andy was going to the hospital adding he said that he was going to be declawed.
Susan laughed, explaining they had just taken their cat the veterinarian to be declawed. Andy was going to the hospital for a tonsillectomy.
Both the cat and Andy are doing well.
